Mark Cuban says he would prefer losing 'every penny' over a Trump presidency.
Mark Cuban is not only a vocal Hillary Clinton supporter living in the rather red state of Texas, he’s also the owner of the Dallas Mavericks.
On Tuesday, the host of NBC Sports Radio’s ‘The Newy Scruggs Show’ asked the billionaire if he’s worried about fans abandoning the team due to his political views.
Cuban replied, “When it’s all said and done, I’d rather lose every penny than have Trump as president, because I care more about the future of my family, my children than I do about my pocketbook. And so if it means we play to empty arenas, I’m down with that."
Cuban has repeatedly commented in the recent past that Trump is not fit to be president.
In a recent CNBC interview, he noted, "The thought that once he was elected or if he's elected that all the sudden now with all this potential power he's just going to keep quiet and stay scripted. There's no chance that happens...The levels to which he would be corrupted by that power are just beyond conception right now."
