A cool video has emerged of surfers riding waves on the Isar River in Munich, Germany.

The footage, shot earlier this year, shows the surfers taking turns to ride across the river on their boards while a crowd of onlookers gathers on the banks.

"Munich despite of being a landlocked city and hundreds of miles away from the nearest beach, there still a way to surf," the filmer wrote online.
