LOS ANGELES — Australian actress Caitlin Stasey wants Instagram to “embrace the female form” by letting her put up nude selfies.
The Sun reports that the Reign star has been known to share saucy snaps on her account despite the site’s no-nudity rules. She’s had her racy pics deleted as a result and no doubt earned the wrath of Instagram’s bosses.
Stasey is angry and frustrated about the censorship and finds it ridiculous that her photos have been taken down. An advocate of the Free the Nipple campaign, Stasey finds it unfair that topless shots of men are accepted under Instagram’s guidelines.
In a tirade on Twitter, the actress claimed about a dozen photos of her with her nipples exposed have been taken down from her account, including those of her as a kid.
There’s talk that her account might get suspended, though it may be something her 996 followers won’t stand for.
