19-year-old Billy Lynn is brought home for a victory tour after a harrowing Iraq battle. Through flashbacks the film shows what really happened to his squad, contrasting the realities of war with America's perceptions. This Ang Lee film stars Joe Alwyn (as Billy Lynn) Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund, Vin Diesel, Chris Tucker and Steve Martin. Lee dramatizes war in a way truly never seen before, using new technology to shoot and project portions at a framerate of 120 frames per second for the first time in film history. The screenplay is by Jean-Christophe Castelli. A film well worth seeing. So check it out.
