Trump reveals a 'new deal for black America'

At a campaign rally in Charlotte on Wednesday, Donald Trump hoped to appeal to minority voters with new proposals aimed at giving impoverished urban areas the kickstart they desperately need with what he called a “New Deal for black America”. Trump's plan rests on setting up better schools, lowering crime in inner cities and creating more high-paying jobs. “I will be your greatest champion,” Trump told a predominantly white Charlotte crowd. “I will never ever take the African American community for granted. Never, ever.”
