Iconic 'Afghan girl' from 'National Geographic' faces 14 years in prison

National Geographic's famed 'Afghan Girl' Sharbat Gula was arrested on Wednesday in Pakistan. Gula was arrested in an investigation into identity-card fraud and could face up to 14 years in prison. Her portrait 'Afghan Girl' appeared on the June 1985 cover of the National Geographic magazine and is recognized as 'its most recognized cover'.
