Poor old Michael, despite being a hard working Essex lad he just wasn't tough enough to survive the cut-throat world of luxury table sauce, and now he's been fired.
TV's Jamie East is currently at a monastery, having a much needed lie down, so this interview had to be conducted by Gordon the cameraman. Luckily Gordon is the world's biggest Apprentice fan, so it wasn't a complete disaster.
