Fans are tired of Pokemon GO's creator Niantic

Pokemon GO's popularity has dwindled mightily over the last few months and fans believe it's largely because of developer Niantic. The app has fallen down the App Store charts since the summer and folks on the Pokemon GO subreddit are calling for major changes. Players are unhappy at the lack of free lures as you level up, as well as Niantic's shut down of many third-party Pokemon trackers. Momentum has slowed to a halt after a blistering summer, which saw the game take the world by storm, because Niantic has yet to fulfill some add-ons they promised, like trading, quest and PvP.
