Blazers' All-Star Damian Lillard: 'I want to be the MVP'

Portland Trailblazers' point guard Damian Lillard is setting the bar high for the upcoming season. After a year in which Portland won 44 games, en route to a playoff series win over the Los Angeles Clippers, Lillard is gunning for the NBA's highest individual honor. Lillard told the Portland Tribune. Blazers' head coach Terry Stotts believes in his star and thinks he can achieve MVP status because of his work ethic. Stotts said. The Blazers open their season Tuesday night at home against the Utah Jazz.
