Arnold Schwarzenegger is an actor, former governor, philanthropist, and soon-to-be host for 'The Celebrity Apprentice,' but one title he desires has, thus far, proven beyond his reach – U.S. president.
In an interview with AdWeek, Schwarzenegger said, “If I'd been born in America, I would've run. Because now? This was a very good time to get in the race."
According to Page Six, in 2013, Schwarzenegger tried to gather support for revoking the requirement that presidential candidates be born in the United States, but, at least for now, the rule stands.
Though he can’t run for the high office, he is a U.S. citizen and can vote in the election.
Schwarzenegger has made it known that, while he is a devoted Republican, he will not be casting his ballot for Donald Trump.
