Elon Musk details his vision of life on Mars

Space X founder and CEO Elon Musk gave more details about plans to colonize Mars on Sunday during an AMA session on Reddit.
His vision involves massive, reusable rocket boosters launching spaceships into a “parking orbit” where they are later refueled by propellant tankers.
According to Musk, the first few missions to the planet will involve scouting and transportation of equipment.
Only after these missions will any crewed flights take place, the first of which will only carry around a dozen people tasked with building a rudimentary base.
SpaceX has said it could send an uncrewed Dragon spacecraft to Mars as early as 2018 to test aspects like landing capabilities and navigation.
