It was announced that Katy Perry will be one of the Met Gala's co-chairs, a position that her arch enemy Taylor Swift held this past season's celebration.
Next year's Met Gala will honor avant-garde Japanese clothing brand Comme des Garçons and its elusive designer, Rei Kawakubo, who has served as a noted reference and source of inspiration for designers like Marc Jacobs, Maison Margiela's John Galliano, and Junya Watanabe.
