That message comes after a patrol car stopped on I-94 Hudson Bridge was hit by a truck traveling at high speed.
At the time of the crash, the officer was not in the squad car and was walking back to his vehicle after assisting a person whose car had stalled.
Luckily, no injuries in connection with the incident were reported.
The Hudson Police Department posted news of the accident on Facebook along with the request, “Please remember to slow down and move over when you see an emergency vehicle with it's emergency lights on.”
