The deceased have been identified as Cameron and Courtney Hulet, ages 28 and 20, respectively.
The incident was reported on Tuesday night by a neighbor who said she had stopped by at the couple's apartment and saw them sprawled out on the floor.
At the time, she thought they were sleeping, but when she came back later, she grew concerned because they hadn’t moved, notes the Monroe News.
When authorities arrived, they found roughly a pound of marijuana in the kitchen.
Autopsies and toxicology tests are being performed, but results are not yet available.
Investigators have thus far ruled out foul play, reports WTVG.
The couple is survived by two children who are now under the care of child protective services.
