Firebomb attack destroys North Carolina GOP headquarters

HILLSBOROUGH, NORTH CAROLINA — Unknown perpetrators burned the Republican Party’s North Carolina headquarters to the ground in a diabolical firebomb attack on Saturday night.

An arsonist hurled a bottle of flammable liquid through a window at the GOP headquarters in Orange County, setting the building ablaze, local police said, according to the Charlotte Observer,

North Carolina governor Pat McCrory called the firebombing “an attack on democracy,” while one GOP official said it was an act of political terrorism.

In addition to the firebomb, graffiti that branded GOP members “Nazis” and warned them to leave town was daubed on a nearby building.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump blamed the attack on “animals representing Hillary and the Democrats,” and tweeted that they did it because they’re losing the race to the White House.

GOP volunteers said the attack would backfire because it would make Republicans mad and motivate them to vote.

Hillary Clinton tweeted that the attack was “horrific and unacceptable,”which makes us here at TomoNews think the Democrat presidential nominee probably wasn’t behind it.

So who could have committed such a barbarous act? Well, the fact that this atrocity happened in the Carolinas can only mean one thing.

That’s right, North and South Carolina are a hive of creepy clown activity and with Halloween just weeks away, it seems these evil pranksters will stop at nothing in their quest to menace good folks.
