Ohio’s Secretary Of State Calls Trump’s Assertions Of Rigged Election ‘Irresponsible’

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has called Donald Trump’s allegations of a rigged election and voter fraud “irresponsible.”

Over the past few days, Donald Trump has unleashed an avalanche of tweets asserting that the election is rigged, pointing to both media bias and voter fraud.
According to the New York Times, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has since called the allegations “irresponsible” and noted “no justification” exists for the comments suggesting voting misconduct.
On Monday morning, the state official said to CNN, “First of all, I can reassure Donald Trump: I am in charge of elections in Ohio, and they're not going to be rigged.”
He continued, “Our institutions, like our election system, is one of the bedrocks of American democracy. We should not question it or the legitimacy of it.”
Husted also commented that if Trump has evidence of fraud it should be reported to those in charge of elections, not the Twitterverse.
