Microsoft's Xbox One has continuously beat out its rival, the Sony PlayStation 4, in terms of sales and September was no different. September was the third month in a row that the Xbox One outsold its competition, the PlayStation 4. Demand for the PS4 has undoubtedly cooled over time with 40 million consoles in homes. The Xbox One also has two major blockbuster exclusive games this year in "Forza Horizon 3" and "Gears of War 4." The Xbox One S, a slimmer and cheaper version of the original console, has also contributed to overall sales.
