Dramatic footage has emerged from China of police officers rescuing three people after they got their car stuck in gushing floodwater.

The video, captured in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province last Saturday, shows the rescue team trying to tie a rope to the car to stop it being swept away.

It took them an hour, but the officers eventually managed to rescue all those inside.
