HELENSBURGH, AUSTRALIA — In one of the most unlikely animal friendships seen online, the pairing of a koala joey and a monarch butterfly is melting hearts across the Internet.

The baby koala, Willow, is almost a year old and resides at Symbio Wildlife park in Helensburgh, Australia. During a photoshoot the park was filming for its sustainability initiatives, little Willow caught sight of a beautiful orange butterfly perched on a flower nearby.

As Willow leaned in for a sniff, the butterfly flew up above her head and landed right on her little nose. Within seconds, the two appeared to be fascinated by one another, enjoying the moment.

Symbio Wildlife Park is hoping the new friendship caught on video will attract more attention to the work the park is doing to help preserve nature and its amazing creatures. Since being posted to Facebook only two days ago, the video has racked up more than 6 million views.

Willow is one of seven koalas living at the park located south of Sydney.
