Beats and Styles è il progetto musicale di due produttori/DJ finlandesi, DJ Alimo e DJ Control.
L'idea è quella di combinare insieme diversi stili musicali così da creare suoni musicali originali legati con energia positiva con un particolare cantato e un bel groove. Come dice il nome del gruppo, questi eclettici produttori cercano di amalgamare different beats con different styles, il tutto mixando suoni, canto, danza e mastering. Il loro primo album si chiama This Is... Beats And Styles ed è stato pubblicato in Finlandia. Il primo singolo estratto "Allstars" è una canzone dancehall molto elettronica a cui prendono parte tutti gli amici cantanti e rappers del duo finlandese (tra cui spicca il featuring di B.O.DUBB... rapper dei Bomfunk MC's) (tratto da: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beats_and_Styles)

The band was originally a duo, consisting of DJ Control (guitar, vocals) and DJ Alimo whose real name is Asmo Soivio (vocals). Alimo and Control started their career as DJs and club promoters. In 2000, they got their own club culture TV show on Helsinki local television. They became more and more interested in making music, and they made drum'n'bass music in solo and later Finnish language music under the name Alimo&Control. The Alimo&Control project's most famous song was "Tarkkaillaan", featuring Laura Närhi from Kemopetrol as the vocalist. In 2003, Alimo and Control released an album, This is...
