"Long Way" è un brano dolce e melodico interpretato dai 77 Bombay Street che in Svizzera ha raggiunto la posizione #1 su iTunes qualche mese fa! La canzone è perfetta per quegli strani momenti di malinconia che accompagnano pure l'estate. "Long Way" è una vera ballad, di quelle che mettono i brividi. A tutti è capitato di sentirsi fuori posto, lontano da casa, soli... in certi momenti una canzone è più importante di tutto.
I 77 Bombay Street, una family band svizzera formata da Matt (28 anni, voce e chitarra acustica), Joe (26, voce e chitarra elettrica), Esra (24, voce e batteria) e Simri-Ramon (20 voce e basso). Time pubblicherà il primo album della band in autunno. Il loro nome è l'indirizzo della loro casa ad Adelaide, in Australia, dove hanno abitato per un paio d'anni. Poi la nostalgia di casa è stata troppo forte e sono tornati a Svizzera, più precisamente nel vecchio chalet in cui vivevano i loro nonni. In questo periodo, però, godono poco della tranquillità della montagna, perché suonano molto dal vivo, in patria e pure in Inghilterra.
There are many, many family bands, but very few of them have as much in common and yet as many differences as the members of 77 Bombay Street. The sound created by the four brothers from Scharans is reminiscent of The Beatles in their early days or the Beach Boys after a night on the drink. The combination of this sound, the inspiring mountain air, and influences from the current music scene creates the unmistakeable brand of folk rock that is the "Bombays". All four brothers write songs, channelling their personal preferences into the band's music This means that in this case, variety and inventiveness are not just an empty phrase, but the defining feature of this band... "Long Way" is their first single in Italy and had a fantastic airplay. It's a song about life, death and loneliness. But it's not the same old sad song!
