According to the notice, the organization is not properly registered.
Further, the office of the attorney general is investigating how the foundation is spending contributions and other matters related to compliance with state laws.
Said a spokesperson for the charity, “While we remain very concerned about the political motives behind (the) investigation, the Trump Foundation nevertheless intends to cooperate fully...Because this is an ongoing legal matter, the Trump Foundation will not comment further at this time.”
