Sankat Mochan Music Festival 2013 is organised to celebrate the birth of Hanuman, who was a great musician himself. On the occasion of this festival, numerous music festivities are organised at the premises of the Sankat Mochan Temple of Varanasi. This year Kathak samrat Birju Maharaj and his daughter Mamta Maharaj performed on the 2nd day of the festival.
