Trade in world's most-trafficked mammal banned

The world’s most trafficked mammal has gained special protection after more than a million were poached from the wild in the last decade.

Trade has been banned in eight species of Pangolin, a creature found across Asia and Africa. The scales on the slow-moving, nocturnal creature are used in traditional Chinese medicine, leading to the species becoming highly endangered.
