Honduras: Electoral Court Gives a Step Back on Gender Equality

Women from diverse Honduran political parties protested outside the country's electoral court this week, against a recent ruling on the 2017 elections, that failed to meet congressional mandated standards of gender equality. the court promised to guarantee the equal participation of men and women on the ballots for next year's presidential, municipal, and local elections.
