Myanmar child servants beaten and burnt

The case of two girls in Myanmar who were allegedly beaten, cut with knives and deprived of sleep and food by their employers has highlighted the brutal conditions faced by thousands of young domestic workers in the country. They are among tens of thousands from poor rural areas sent to work as domestic helpers for the country's growing pool of wealthier, urban middle-class households.
