David Bowie Aladdin Sane Running Commentary Album Review

Aladdin Sane is David Bowie’s sixth album, released in April 1973, ten months after the release of ‘Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars’. It’s said that most of the tracks were composed on the road during the first leg of the US tour for Ziggy Stardust in 1972 and then recorded between December ’72 and January ’73, mostly, at Trident Studios before heading back over to America and then on to Asia.
