Entitled UCLA girl sends list of demands to new roommates she’s never met

LOS ANGELES — Two college girls found it’s never too early to make friends or enemies, when their new roommate reared her ugly head just days before moving in.

UCLA freshman Winnie Chen received a shocking email from a girl called Ashly, her soon-to-be-roommate who she’s never met. In a Twitter post showing a screenshot of the email, Ashly starts by asking why her previous messages were ignored, and quickly follows up with a long list of demands about the new dorm room.

Ashly was adamant about getting the top bunk, a desk by the window, and one of the white closets, and warned the girls “not to try her”. She said she was not afraid to “make the situation bigger” if things didn’t go her way, and claimed to be a “ticking time bomb.”

Not to be outdone, one of the other roommates, Guistinna Tun, emailed back to calmly but snarkily confront Ashly for her nasty attitude.

Not surprisingly, Ashly shot back with another email. After dishing out advice about not fighting attitude with more attitude, she praised the two girls for sticking up for each other, but declared she wouldn’t be changing rooms.

Chen posted an update on Twitter saying she contacted Housing about the issue. But with no reply, it seems Tun and Lee will have to put up with their demanding roommate for the next year
