The world’s best forestry workers gathered in the picturesque Polish town of Wisla over the weekend (September 8-11) for the World Logging Championships.

The championships, which have taken place every two years since 1970, pit the world’s best handlers of a chainsaw from around the world against one another over five separate disciplines, including precision cutting, tree felling and the final and most exciting event, the limbing.

113 participants from 28 nations competed in the 32nd edition of the championships.
