The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are headed out west in week two to battle the Arizona Cardinals in an NFL pro football game set for Sunday.

Notes: Tampa Bay is 1-0 with the 31-24 road victory to the Atlanta Falcons as a +2 ½ point underdog. The game total finished at over 46 ½ points. The Buccaneers had built a 31-13 lead late in the third quarter and hung on. Quarterback Jameis Winston had a good day completing 23 of 33 passes for 281 yards with four touchdowns and one pick. They ran for just 90 yards on 28 carries. Defensively the Bucs did allow Matt Ryan to throw for 334 yards and two touchdowns. Red zone defense was key for Tampa Bay limiting Atlanta to 1 of 4 conversions as well as giving up just 52 rushing yards on 22 carries.

Arizona fell to 0-1 on the year with the 23-21 home defeat to the New England Patriots as a -9 point favorite. The game finished at under 44 ½ points. The Cardinals had a shot to win it but a 47 yard field goal went side. Carson Palmer had a good night completing 24 of 37 throws for 271 yards and two touchdowns. He engineered three touchdown downs in their three trips inside the red zone. The running game produced 92 yards on 19 carries. Arizona did allow Jimmy Garoppolo to complete 24 of 33 throws for 264 yards and a touchdown as well as surrender 106 rushing yards.
