Maasai man demonstrates how to make fire without matches
  • 8 years ago
An interesting video has emerged of a Maasai man demonstrating how to make fire in the wilderness without matches or a lighter.

The video, filmed in the Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania earlier this year, shows the man using two sticks, his seme (dagger) and a spore of dried elephant dung to start the blaze.

The Maasai are an indigenous ethnic group who live in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. They are reportedly very well known around the world because of their distinctive dress and customs.
