They then faced Arizona on the road in the divisional round of the playoffs and were beaten 26-20 in overtime as a +7 point underdog. Aaron Rodgers returns under center and completed 60.7% of his throws for 3821 yards with 31 touchdowns and 8 picks. He was without his favorite target in Jordy Nelson who was out for the season with a knee injury. The Packers are hoping for improved numbers for running back Eddie Lacy as he lines up in the backfield along with James Starks. They are hoping Nelson can return healthy and completing the playmakers in the passing game are Randell Cobb. Green Bay sat 24th in the league in offense. They averaged 334 yards per game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars failed to make the playoffs in 2015 but saw improvement in the quarterback position. Blake Bortles hit on 58.6% of his throws for 4428 yards with 35 touchdowns and 18 picks. In the backfield for Jacksonville are Chris Ivory and Denard Robinson. Second year man T.J. Yeldon saw work as a rookie. Out wide is Justin Blackmon along with Marqise Lee. The Jaguars need improvement on the defense end as the team was 24th in the league by allowing 375 yards per game.
