Shocking footage has emerged of the moment a large jet aircraft crashed into a minivan while it was taxiing along the runway at an airport in Hong Kong.

The video, filmed earlier today, shows the minivan moving towards the aircraft and eventually getting caught under one of the engines.

The van was destroyed and the driver had injuries to his head and shoulder.

He was quickly rescued by the emergency services and taken to hospital.

What caused him to drive into the plane is currently being investigated.
