The No. 1 pick of the 2016 NFL Draft will be in street clothes when Jared Goff sits out of the Rams' week one matchup against the 49ers. Rams' head coach Jeff Fisher told NFL Network Sean Mannion will be the team's backup and punter Johnny Hekker will be the emergency backup. Fisher said that "Goff will one day be the starter but not until he is ready." Fisher added that Goff and Mannion could potentially switch for the home opener against Seattle the following week.
