On Labor Day, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump ran virtually parallel campaigns focusing on Ohio and nearly crossing paths in Cleveland, as they got ready for the final stretch of the presidential race.
Clinton gave reporters her most extensive question-and-answer session in months, courted labor supporters and met with union leaders in Cleveland to clear some persistent doubts about her candidacy.
Also, her husband Bill Clinton, marched in Detroit during a Labor Day parade while Bernie Sanders made his first solo appearance on Hillary's behalf at a rally in New Hampshire.
Meanwhile, the Republican candidate Donald Trump, invited a small group of reporters onto his plane, answered questions and clarified his views on immigration during the 30-minute flight.
He said he opposed any way to citizenship for the 11 million illegal immigrants.
Trump also had time to meet Maria Hernandez, a Mexican-American supporter, at a dinner in Cleveland and speak to a dozen white people at an American Legion post where he criticized China’s treatment of President Obama.
