RSPCA West Hatch Wildlife posted about the animal on its Facebook page, saying he was found “exhausted and dehydrated.”
However, after receiving electrolytes and getting warmed up, his condition improved enough to give him “a bath to remove the glue.”
The organization included a picture of the bat getting washed with liquid soap and warm water.
The post also revealed that the bath appeared to make a positive difference, as “he started taking mealworms from tweezers and was quite feisty!”
Nearly a week later, the RSPCA has released an update, saying the bat is “doing really well and has progressed into a flexarium to enable him to fly around.”
