42 percent of Americans say they are less safe from terrorism than before 9/11

A poll by The Chicago Council confirms the fear of terrorism by many Americans.
The poll found that 42 percent of Americans feel that their country is less safe than it was before Sept. 11, 2001 — compared with 27 percent in a 2014 survey.
The study also reveals that 89 percent of Americans now say it is at least somewhat likely that occasional acts of terrorism will be a part of life in the future
