Donald Trump has been lagging behind opponent Hillary Clinton in recent polls, and it may be occurring to him that a victory is not a sure thing.
Donald Trump has been lagging behind opponent Hillary Clinton in recent polls, and it may be occurring to him that a victory is not a sure thing.
On Thursday morning, he addressed the matter on CNBC’s ‘Squawk Box.’
During an interview, he said, “All I do is tell the truth. And if at the end of 90 days, I've fallen short because I'm somewhat politically correct even though I'm supposed to be the smart one and even though I'm supposed to have a lot of good ideas, it's OK. I go back to a very good way of life...I think we're going to have victory, but we'll see."
Other than that, it was business as usual, with Trump calling President Obama, “the founder of ISIS” and accusing Clinton of having done, “many illegal things.”
