Tony Romo may see limited work in the opener. Backup Kellen Moore is out with a broken leg. Rookie Dak Prescott a rookie will see work as the team’s third round draft pick. Jameill Showers enters his second year with the team and is competing for a roster spot.

The Rams make their return to the LA Coliseum after spending 21 years in St Louis. The franchise has been down for several years. They were the 32nd worst passing and total offense team in the NFL last year. Veteran Case Keenum will get the start under center. He enters his fifth season in the league and has started 15 games in his career. Rookie Jared Goff will see some work. Sean Mannion was an accurate passer in his college years at Oregon St and enters his second season with the club. He saw mop up work in one game last year. Dylan Thompson will look for a roster spot after spending his rookie year at San Francisco last year.
