Ed Sheeran sued for copying Marvin Gaye's "Let's get it on"

Ed Sheeran faces a copyright infringement lawsuit for his hit 'Thinking Out Loud' over Marvin Gaye's "Let's get it on" Ed Townsend, co-writer of Gaye's song, sued the British​ artist claiming his Grammy-winning hit copies key parts of Marvin's track "The melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic compositions of 'Thinking' are substantially and/or strikingly similar to the drum composition of 'Let's'" the lawsuit claims This is the second copyright lawsuit launched against Ed Sheeran in the past few months
