Uber China merges with rival Didi Chuxing in billion dollar deal

Didi Chuxing, the dominant ride-hailing service in China, said it will acquire Uber in the country Didi, which was valued at $28 billion in its latest fundraising round, said Monday that Uber and investors in its UberChina unit will take a 20% stake in the company.
The sale, which would create a new company worth about $35 billion, would end the great ride-hailing rival of China.
