Donald Trump is continuing his attack against Khizr Khan, the father of a U.S. soldier killed in Iraq, notes Business Insider.
On Monday, the GOP candidate lashed out at Khan, who has made a number of television appearances in recent days.
In them, Khan continued his questioning of Trump’s desire to ban Muslims from entering the United States and commented on the billionaire’s lack of empathy.
Early Monday, Trump tweeted, “Mr. Khan, who does not know me, viciously attacked me from the stage of the DNC and is now all over T.V. doing the same — Nice!"
He followed that grievance with an attempt to redirect the conversation, saying via Twitter, “This story is not about Mr. Khan, who is all over the place doing interviews, but rather RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISM and the U.S. Get smart!”
