ENCINITAS, CALIFORNIA — Two men from California fell off a seaside cliff trying to catch ‘em all, in this latest incident of Pokémon Go players being stupid.

NBC San Diego reports around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, lifeguards reported someone falling off an ocean bluff near E. Street in Encinitas.

When rescue firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a man on the beach who had fallen almost 90 feet from the cliff. A second man was spotted 50 feet down.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the two men, both in their 20s, were users of popular augmented reality game Pokémon Go, and were trying to catch a pocket monster near the cliffs. Despite a fence and a sign warning that the bluff was unstable, the men crossed over to the other side to pursue their pokemon. They fell off the edge shortly after.

Both men survived the fall with moderate injuries, and were taken to Scripps La Jolla Hospital by rescuers.
