Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Sunday she is stepping down as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee her resignation comes under pressure from top Democrats and amid the release of leaked emails that show DNC staffers favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. Wasserman Schultz said she was "privileged to serve as the DNC Chair for five and a half years."
