ADNAN OKTAR: The massacres performed by Hulagu are not told to Muslims. His terror is not told to anyone, the vileness of that era is not told; this is  very abnormal behavior. If you don’t know the past dajjals, you can’t understand the dajjals of our time. Hulagu is as brutal as at least Pharaoh, perhaps he is a being much more brutal than him. This is because Pharaoh didn’t carry out such an  all-out slaughter. That is to say, Pharaoh’s massacre is limited but the massacre carried out by Hulagu is immense. Notice that he [Hulagu] slaughtered one million people in Baghdad; according to some reports this figure is one and a half million. Following the invasion of Baghdad, he sent an offer to the caliph, saying, “I would like to wed my daughter to your son; if you surrender, you can save the life and properties of Muslims.” Unaware how despicable and how much of a hypocrite Hulagu was, the caliph believed in him. How could he ever know what a rampant dajjal  he was. “Together with his family and his scholars, the caliph went to Hulagu.” He slaughtered all of them. He was a sheer psychopath. Ultimately he wrapped Mutasim, the last caliph, in felt and martyred him under the feet of horses. Women and children went out from their homes, they begged for mercy, but he put them all to the sword. All the women were raped in the streets. They also slaughtered everyone in the hospitals. During the first three days of the invasion of Baghdad, he carried out an incessant massacre day and night. Then, lootings and massacres continued for another six weeks. Several rivers ran crimson because of the huge bloodshed: The Barada River was one of them. All the shrines, the palaces, the historical buildings, the mosques, the libraries were set on fire and demolished.
