John Goodlett, an employee at a Tulsa, Oklahoma car rental, has become a shining example of how greatly an act of kindness can impact someone’s day.
The person he helped is Coty Vincent, who shared the story on Facebook and encouraged others to be like John.
About a week ago she wrote, “This is John and he works at Enterprise. He's also a twin and his twin sister is his best friend. While he helped me with my rental due to a hit and run accident, he held one of my twin sons as I don't have a double stroller. One of the most compassionate and caring people I've ever met. We need more people like John who go that extra step. Be a John.”
That post has been shared tens of thousands of times and garnered around a quarter of a million reactions.
Vincent has added updates, with one noting, “Enterprise has purchased me a double stroller…”
She also announced, “Enterprise gifted John's choice of charity a large monetary donation which was the North Mabee Boys & Girls club! He also received a gift card in appreciation of his hardwork and dedication.”
