Representative Teri A. Sewell tweeted a photo of her decidedly more ethnically diverse group along with the Maya Angelou quote, “In diversity, there is beauty and there is strength."
Xavier Beccera’s post included the message, “Thank you to all my hardworking #CapitolHill interns! We had a great group this summer.”
Interns posted some shots of themselves and their colleagues as well, with one commenting, “There is diversity on Capitol Hill !”
