Well Rajanikanth’s Kabali has already earned 200 crore even before its release. How? It seems down south kabaali would be played in 27 Chennai screens amounting to 96 shows per day and what adds more is it has already sold all tickets for first three days. While tickets cannot exceed Rs 120 in Tamil Nadu as per government rules but neighbouring states are reporting that tickets are priced as high as Rs 600.
Theatres in Chennai are finding it difficult to keep pace with the demand. One knows thalaiva’s star power, sisnt it?. Infact in the US, Rajinikanth’s Kabali was sold out within two hours. The film is releasing in 400 theatres there. Back home, the scene is no different. Kabali releases on 22nd of July and the film’s advance booking began on July 15. One hears that Kabaali might overtake Sallu’s SULTAN in few days and Sallu might lose his crown once Thalaiva’s movie arrives. Well intresting to see what happens further.
