Residents rescue two bus passengers trapped in extreme floodwater

Footage has emerged from China of residents in an upstairs flat rescuing two bus passengers trapped in flowing floodwater below.

The video, filmed in Fuzhou, Fujian Province last Saturday, shows people on the second floor using a rope to pull a trapped man and woman out of the swamped bus.

After six minutes of struggling with the rope, the man and a woman were both successfully rescued.
