Indigenous Bolivians Learn to Read and Write

These elderly Indigenous Bolivians aren't giving up on education. In an effort to both respect their traditions and include Indigenous men and women in society, Bolivia continues to offer literacy courses to the Indigenous population. And the work has paid off. Since 2007 the country's illiteracy rate has dropped by nearly 10 percent, and is now at just 3.7 percent.
